Penny is our Practice Manager here at Cypress Animal Hospital! Penny just moved back to the area after living in Nashville for the past 15 years. She is married to her husband Patrick - together they have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and visiting lighthouses around Florida.
Abbey is one of our vet technicians and has been in the field for about 3 years now. She was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida where she now resides with her husband and 2 rescue pitbull mixes. She is currently in college working on her degree in nursing. In her free time, Abbey enjoys going to the beach and boating.
Jana has been in the veterinary field for over 6 years. She grew up in Czech Republic on a farm in a small village called Velka Bukovina. It was here that her love for animals started! Jana moved here to Florida in 2001; when she isn't working, she is spending time with her husband and her cats. She enjoys going out on the boat and going on bike rides.
Ashley has been in the animal field for 7 years, and was born and raised in Hobe Sound, Florida. She now lives in Palm City with her rescue pitbull, Molly, and her aussie, Hurley. She also works at the area emergency clinic, Pet Emergency of Martin County. While she is not working, Ashley enjoys her love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and working on the property.
Born and raised in South Florida, Caitlin is the loving owner of three dogs - a labrador named Zoey, a border collie mix named Dalton, and a rottweiler named Chewy. In addition, she has two horses named Bama and Mr. C, and last but not least, a miniature potbelly pig named Phoebe. Caitlin has been riding horses since she was 7 years old, and has always been passionate about helping animals. She has volunteered at multiple organizations such as Rising Starr Rottweiler Rescue, Hopes Dreams and Horses, and The Pet Connection. Caitlin graduated from Jupiter Community High school in May of 2016 and is currently attending Palm Beach State College, where she will be receiving her Associate's in Arts Degree. She plans on continuing her education at the University of Florida where she plans to study Veterinary Medicine. Caitlin has wanted to become a Veterinarian her whole life and working in the field has reassured that she has chosen the right path!
Ashley began working as a Veterinary Technician 13 years ago for a small animal practice in Stuart, Florida. From there, she moved on to specialty and emergency practices throughout South Florida, and currently still works part time as an ER Technician. For a brief period, she moved to Washington State to further her skills in emergency and critical care medicine. Ashley currently owns four rescue dogs: two pitbulls and two chihuahuas, as well as Coraline (our grumpy little hospital cat!)
